Paula was a cousin as well as a dear friend. She got her M.L.S. at the University of Texas at Austin and became a librarian in Houston. Paula was Phi Beta Kappa. She read extensively and danced. Paula had two children: Leah and Mia.  Paula was a very positive person. I saw her a few weeks before she passed. I miss her very much.

I enjoyed dancing with Paula in Esande, the ETHS dance group.  She was lively, fun and a disciplined dancer.

I danced with Paula in Esande also.  We performed a work together at the end of our senior year at the "festival" I think it was called with all the music and arts groups performing. She was a great friend, and a wonderful person.

When Paula was in the 8th grade, I seem to remember her as part of my homeroom group over at Skiles; but I'm not sure on that fact. She also may have been part of an integrated Girl Scout troop with me tto as the troop leaders where the late Dorothy Phipps (Dana's mom), my late Aunt Ruth Nederlander along with my Mom. who now lives in Honolulu , Hawaii with my sister Jean (ETHS '65). When we were at ETHS together, she and I were in separate homerooms each year and never did have any classes together that I can remember but I often had seen her in passing between classes each year too.
