I distinctly remember Chris from gym class at ETHS, and I'm sure we had other classes together.  She was shy, until you got to know her and then she was anything but!  I remember she was very diligent, studious and worked hard at whatever was in front of her.  What I remember most was that she was so in love with Winnie's brother - Howard? We weren't the kind of friends that did things together, and now I wonder why.  Does anyone know where she went after highschool?  So sorry to learn of her passing.

Chris and six other friends (Lucy, Sue, Penny, Dorothy, Marian, and me) hung out a lot junior and senior year.  Made a lot of great memories together.  It was so sad to see Chris' name on the In Memory list, including the "unknown" as to when.  Does anyone have any info on where her life took her after high school and when she passed away?  Another one of our little group, Marian Edwards, is on the Missing Classmates list.  There is a photo in the Key of Chris and Marian relaxing in the student lounge.  RIP, Chris, and, Marian, wherever you are, I hope you are happy.  I will think of both of you this weekend while walking down memory lane with Lucy, Sue, and Dorothy.  Penny, we will miss you, and I will email you after the event to fill you in.

I too was so saddened to see Chris in the memorial space. Thank you Donna for speaking of her. And I too am wondering what happened to Marian.

Chris and her boyfriend Howie Alt '62 fixed up Sue Sands and I with 2 of Howard's friends. I got Lee Cyrus and our date was to go to the Regal theater in Chicago and hear Ray Charles. I was only 16 and we all had an amazing time. 5 years later Lee and I married and had my daughter Io. We were divorced 4 years later.  I had llost touch with Chris by thenby and often wondered what happened to her.

Her  parents were Swedish and I think she was bilingual. Chris was a fantastic ice-skater doing triple lutes, etc. i am sorry she is gone.
