Tom Treff was a very likeable classmate. He always carried a warm smile and later on in the late 70's I found out that he had married our Classmate Phyllis White I knew since the late 50's. It's a strange feeling looking back,kind of surreal almost that these Classmates that were part of our lives are no longer with us. Kind of melancholy on one hand but makes you appreciate the gifts we're given. I'm looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces.EB
I was about to enter a comment about Tom, and was glad to see another remembrance, Eric. Tom -- Tommy when I knew him best -- was a very close Oakton School friend who took great pleasure in his initials, "TNT" (Nicholas was his middle name) -- and in his dog, Muggsy, an obnoxious, nervous Boston Terrier. Happy memories of comic books, bike rides and purposeless wandering. I was sorry to hear of his passing.
