I did not know Geri that well at ETHS but the reunions changed all that.  She made Jim Deerfield so happy.  What a beautiful person who passed much too soon.

So sorry to hear about Geri passing. She certainly was a bright and special person.

I didn't know Geri very well in H.S. but at the last reunion we really connected well.  Jim, Geri, and several other classmates came out to my home a couple of months after the reunion for a town festival.  We had a great time and recounted a lot of school memories.  I'm sooo sad to hear of Geri's passing.

Gerri and I were best friends since third grade at Washington Elementary School.  We were together at church and then in high school.  She was my maid of honor in my wedding and I returned the honor in her wedding.  We traveled together and visited often in Chicago and Florida.  There is not a day that I don't think of her and the fun times and laughs we had together over many years of friendship.

She had a passion for our high school reunions and always worked hard and enjoyed the events.  The reunion will miss her as well as so many other classmates that have passed over the years.

I  really didn't know Geri or her husband that well when we were all at ETHS together since we didn't have any classes together that I can remember at this time. The only contact we'd had with each other was when our class of June of 1964 had reunions.

I did not know Geri in school as well as others but I do know she made my friend Jim very happy for the time they were together.  Having a friend happy makes me happy and for that reason, God bless you Geri!!

Rose Ann, I am so very sorry for your loss.  I remember you two together - you were both so cool and I was soooooo out of it!!  I remember seeing her at the 25th, looking as great as ever.  So glad she found Mr. Right and had a good life.

I remember Geri from Y club and in and around school, got together a few times after we graduated, then drifted apart. She was as sweet as they come. I am so sorry to hear of her passing , and glad she connected with  a great guy.

Gerri was a fantastic woman.   She was beautiful inside and out.  For 4 years at ETHS we had so much fun together along with RoseAnn, Lynn, Carol(RIP), Diane, Donna, Janet, Jo and many more.  Our friendship continued after high school even though I had moved away.  When we would return to Evanston to visit, Gerri and several others, would get together over a few drinks........there was never a dull moment.

I miss her today just as much as the day she died.

Gerri would have loved being at the 50th. Jim, she would want you to enjoy yourself, so raise a toast to her!!!
